Checklist for Entry Into Spring Soccer 2013 |
|
1. |
After reading this entire
checklist, the next step is to submit a
Spring League Application
Form
|
|
|
- Check the current Team Listing page to make sure your team
isn't already registered; if it
is, DO NOT submit another application. See below
for making changes to your data. - Review the form before filling it out to make sure you
have all required information available |
|
|
- If you will be paying online, you can
pay at the same time that you submit your application.
Online payments are processed through PayPal. You do
not need a PayPal account to use
this service. - If you do not pay when submitting your
application, you can pay later either online or by check. All payment deadlines are still based on date
of payment, not the date of application.
i.e., if you apply before January 1st, you must also pay by
January 1st to receive the
early application fee discount. - If
you will be paying online at a later date after submitting your application,
then when you are ready to pay use the
Online Payment Form to make your payment. DO NOT submit
a new application to make a
payment after submittong an application. |
|
|
-
If paying by check, you can mail a check
for the full amount due using the
Payment by Check Form, |
|
|
- Each team requires a separate application. - check
the Spring League Fee Schedule to view the different Plans
available
Upon submission of your application, a
confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail
address you enter at the bottom of the application form;
therefore please make sure this
e-mail address gets
entered correctly. Once you receive the confirmation
e-mail, verify that your information was submitted correctly.
Please DO NOT submit multiple applications for
the same team. If you need to make a
correction to the original application, send an e-mail to
Scheduler@SpringSoccer.org with the detail of your change.
Do not submit a new application to make an adjustment. To
make an online payment after your application has been
submitted, use the Online Payment Form. Do not submit
a new application for this purpose either.
If you successfully submit an
application and do not receive a confirmation e-mail within
30 minutes, you may have entered the e-mail
incorrectly, or depending on your computer's settings, the
confirmation may have gone into your spam folder. If you do
not find it in your spam folder, please contact the Spring
Soccer Registrar to verify the application and get all
information corrected.
|
|
|
IMPORTANT: Please be sure you are entering the
correct age group. You should be entering the age
group you were in for Fall 2012 and not what you will be in
during Fall 2013,
even if you are requesting to play up an age group. For a new team, it is the same -
i.e. the age group you would have been in during Fall 2012.
If you are requesting to play up an age group, it will be
evaluated and adjusted at a later date.
|
|
2. |
After your team application is processed, your team will be listed
on the Team Number List page. On that listing your team
will have a Spring Soccer Team ID number listed.
Please mention that
Team ID number on any e-mails or further correspondence with Spring
Soccer. Please allow a few days for your team to
appear on this list from the time you submit your
application. If you are paying your entry fee at the
time of application, you do not need to know this ID number
to make your payment (though you will need it for future
correspondence); otherwise please wait until you are
assigned this ID number before making your online payment at
a later date or sending in your check. |
|
|
|
|
3. |
When you are reasonably sure of your team's schedule outside
of Spring Soccer you can submit a
No-Play Dates Form to
indicate which day(s) your team is not available
to be scheduled for games. Once submitted, if any of
your available dates change, submit a new No-Play Dates form in its entirety,
and specifying
all of your no-play dates. You cannot just indicate changes
from the previous form submitted. Each No-Play Dates
form submitted will override all previous No-Play Dates forms submitted
for that team. The deadline for submitting the No-Play
Dates Form is February 6th, 2013.
The purpose of the
No-Play Date option is to allow you to avoid conflicts with other
key soccer dates you may have scheduled. It is not meant for you to
customize your schedule. Checking an excessive
amount of no-play dates could result in not enough available
schedule dates when combined with other teams in your bracket; in
these cases it may be necessary to adjust the scheduling
accordingly. |
|
|
|
|
4. |
Submit a
Venue Form
for each field that your club will be providing. This
is typically coordinated at the club level.
Contact the Spring Soccer Administrator if your club has not
yet received the Venue form. |
|
|
|
|
5. |
Once the season starts, if
you need to re-schedule a game or cancel a game you will need to submit a
Schedule Change Request
Form |
|
|
|
|
6. |
Fill in and print the
Spring Season Roster Form
and bring a copy to each game. |
|
|
|
|
7. |
If at any time your team information changes (other than
No-Play dates), such as coach,
manager, etc., please notify the Registrar by e-mail of the
specific cjange. |
|
|
|
|
8. |
There are separate entries for the Spring Season and for
Spring Cup. Registering for the Spring Season does not
automatically register you for Spring Cup.
|
|
Spring Cup 2013 |
Spring Cup 2013 registration details will be provided
here once
the Spring Season is underway.
If you registered for
the Spring Season under Plan A, then there is no additional
fee for Spring Cup. However, you must still submit the
Spring Cup Application Form if you want to participate in
Spring Cup. |
|
Note #1 Please reference your Spring Soccer Team
ID Number in any e-mails, forms, or any other correspondence with Spring Soccer. See the
Team Number List Page for your number.
Once assigned it will not change.
Note #2
All teams play in the age group that they played in during the
Fall 2012 season, and NOT the age group they will be playing in
during the upcoming Fall 2013 season. Likewise, new teams
play in the age group that they would have played in during Fall
2012. Teams may
request to play up an age group.
Note #3 Boys U10 and Girls U10 play 11 v 11 on the
Full size fields and goals with 3 referees for Spring
League and Spring Cup
Note #4
The purpose of the
No-Play Date option is to allow you to avoid conflicts with other
key soccer dates you may have scheduled. Checking an excessive
amount of no-play dates could result in not enough available
schedule dates when combined with other teams in your bracket; in
these cases it may be necessary to adjust the scheduling
accordingly. |
