I have a team that is not currently registered with CYSA-South. How can I participate in a CYSA-South competitive league?
In order for your team to participate in a CYSA-South sanctioned competitive league, you must complete the following:
1) Register your team with the CYSA-South sanctioned league.
2) Register your players with that league.
3) All coaches must obtain a minimum of a USSF "E" coaching license.
4) All coaches and other responsible team administrators must complete risk management processing (Level "A" program.
This applies to fall, winter, and spring season and whether or not your team is affiliated with another USSF member (AYSO, Super Y League, SAY, or US Club Soccer).
I have a player that did NOT play Club last year. Can they play?
Yes. Please have your League/Club registrar, register the player with CYSA-S. If you do not have a League/Club registrar, then we can register the player at the CSL office.
When is the last date a team can sign up for Spring Soccer?
Absolute drop dead date, Feb. 10, 2008.
Payment must be received before Feb 15, 2008
That's good, how much if we sign up late?
Sign-up and add the stated fees to the cost.
When does the Spring Soccer season start?
The official Spring Soccer season starts March 8, 2008. Please view the calendar for play dates.
Since each team must secure a home field, does that mean half of our games will
be home games?
Could be more home games depending on other teams that may not have a home field. The home and away game theory does not apply to Spring Soccer.
We do not have a home field, can we still join?
YES. Your team will travel and we will attempt to have you join up with another local teams home field at a cost per game to be used by the home hosting club.
Any field fees are shared by both teams using the facility.

Can we NOT be scheduled on certain dates?
YES Each team is required to complete a No Play Date form as part of their registration process. This form communicates to the Scheduler the dates your team is "NOT" available for play.
Is it be possible to be scheduled 2 games on Saturday?
YES Only if a team requests it.
Is it be possible to be scheduled 2 games on Sunday?
YES Only if a team requests it.
Is it possible to play 2 away games on the same day either at the same field or close
enough to be able to commute?
YES Only if a team requests it.
Will there be brackets gold/silver, north/south... etc as is now in the CSL?
Teams will be placed in flights and pools according to a teams request and or level of play and geographic local.
We have a bond with CSL. Do we need a new $150 bond for Spring Soccer?
Yes, a new $150 bond is required for Spring Soccer. It will make it easier to keep the books straight for each team and will not cause any conflicts for the next fall season. The projected date for all teams deserving, to receive their bonds back will be before July 25,

Can I sign up now and pay later?
YES. Your application will be stored in our data base until payment is processed. Officially, your team will NOT be signed up until full payment is received. All payments are due before
2-10-2008. However, the payment due total will change with dates paid. Please view the calendar for more detailed dates due.
Will any of our games conflict with the High School Season Rules?
NO. Spring Soccer will not conflict with High Schools Rules.
